Maths, STEP and degree courses. |

I have almost all of the past papers, mark schemes
and examiner’s reports for all the current GCSE, A-Level and STEP syllabuses,
including the most recent ones. These are freely available to my students and
at no additional cost. |

Furthermore, I also provide model answers to any
questions contained in the AS or A2 modules on request, and as a completely free of charge service. These are available during lessons or, if you are ‘stuck’
when studying at home, by email. |

I have accumulated over 200 testimonial letters
and cards from students and their parents thanking me for the service which I
have provided, including this one from a student
who went from two grade E’s and one grade U in her AS-Level to a grade A
(overall) in only three months. |

I have provided links from
this page to the three major examining boards, Edexcel, AQA and OCR, and you can
access their web sites by clicking the respective links. These sites provide
constantly updated information on all the new syllabuses, and offer lots of free
material for download. However, please note that the web sites of these
examination boards are not specifically designed for mathematics and include
the complete range of subjects contained in the National Curriculum.
This site
is also intended to provide a resource for my Open
University students studying MST 121 and MS 221. Clicking the respective links provides access
to a selection of worksheets (mostly with fully worked solutions) covering the
trickier parts of the two courses. Unfortunately, however, I have had to remove
the past MS 221 examination papers due to copyright reasons. If you are a
student that is registered to me, please telephone or email (using the email
address on my introductory mailing) for information on how to obtain copies of
these papers).
The notice board maintains a record of late or
breaking news, and includes information on assignment errata. The dates of the current tutorials can be found here.
Finally, there is a wealth
of information on mathematics and its applications on the worldwide web, and I
have assembled a collection of hyperlinks to some of the more interesting
and useful of these sites.
